Me: Where are you? You're supposed to be doing the dishes.
Him: I am on the loo.
Me: Why is it you always need to go to the loo when I ask you to do something? You can watch TV for hours or play on the computer and not need to go but as soon as I ask you to do something you need to go.
Him: (Raspberry)
Me: (Raspberry)
Both: Giggle
Well, I guess at least we are keeping the lines of communication open, if you can call blowing raspberries at each other communication. lol
Best wishes
Jen
It's nice to see some things don't change. My mum used to say that us 4 kids used to fight for the loo whenever she said it was dishes time!!
ReplyDeleteAaahhh, my 7 year old boy already does this! I thought by 12 he might have grown out of it... Oh no!

ReplyDeleteI had a child who would always have sore legs ( and therefore couldn't stand ) to do the dishes at dishes time. LOL
ReplyDeleteoh dear! my dd is 7 and her issue is she is often day dreaming or talking to her imaginary friends and consequently doesn't 'hear' what I'm saying:)
ReplyDeleteI have a child who suddenly has a very sore tired hand when I ask him to do some handwriting practise, even though he draws incredibly detailed sketches for hours at a time...!
